Happy New Year!!

Starting off the new year right with a new conditioning regimen called Foundation training. It seems to be related to yoga but is more focused on the back core musculature. The philosophy is that strengthening, conditioning and straightening the back will lead to more natural mechanical movement for daily living and sports.

During this basic, intro workout it definitely worked something. I tried to focus more on mechanics than heart rate. All I heard throughout the training was cracking, creeking and popping. A lot to be said about a pretty sedentary regimen.
